Capital choice consumer credit
Ripoff

Business & Finance

About 3 weeks ago, I got a letter from Capital Choice Consumer Credit, saying that I was approved for a credit card for $5000. I could pay $39, or $43 for rush service.
I sent a money order for $43.

Well, 2 weeks went by and I didnt hear a thing from them. I then got a call from someone saying they were from Capital Choice, and that my card had been sent.

Then the alarm bell went off. They said they needed my checking account number and the routing number. I hung up on them.
Then about 2 days went by, and again another phone call. They asked if I had received my card, and I said no. Again they asked for my banking info. I again hung up.

Well, its been three weeks, and I havent heard anything. From the way it sounds, its a good thing I listened to my instincts for once, (I didnt see any reason why they needed my bank info), if I've already been approved.

So, I guess I've been screwed out of $43, but sounds like it could have been worse.
