Allied Interstate keeps calling my house for a non-existant person and after many calls to them to stop, they are ignored and continue to do so. They do this about 20 times a day.

Well, Here is how I get even... The Number they call from according to call back information is. 1-866-476-7116. What do I do?

Well I set up my Dial Up Networking on my computer to continue to call this number up to a 1000 times at a time. Be sure you dial *67 first. This blocks them from seeing the number. Open your dial up netwoking and click on "New Connection"

Put in the phone number exactly as follows: *67,18664767116

Under OPTIONS "Display Number", "Prompt for phone", and "Re-dial if line dropped" are the only things checked. Under NETWORKING, Make sure Net BEUI is checked. Do not check the TCIP icon.

Since I can not keep them from calling, when they do start calling and hanging up, I start having my computer call them,

They answer. My computer waits. They talk and then hang up. Then my computer re-dials the number.

1st time I set machine to 600 attempts. They do get tired at answering because they get quite agitated... GOOD!

If everyone did this that continues to hassle them, perhaps their switchboard will becomne jammed. I do know when you call this 866 number, it is like a Toll Free number meaning that it is toll free for us, BUT COSTS THEM MONEY.

This is for Allied Internation... I asked nicely for you to discontinue your phone calls to me. You didn't, so now I am spreading this information throughout the net. I am sure you have pissed many people off... Now it is your turn!
