Fired ex employee speaks, Hostile work environment, Vicious circle, this entire company must be infected Ripoff

First I would like to say that I did love my job and tried so desperately to get it back, with no success. This is my way of venting my frustration and validates the lack of character and integrity in so many Ameriquest's upper management.

I worked in both Alabama and Dallas, Texas, so I am now certain that it is company wide. I was fired in May after requesting to be transferred. I was told it was my performance, but in 2 1/2 yrs, I had never been written up... At least not until I wanted out and away from Amanda Watson (Branch Manager), Joe Garrett (Area Manager), and Emily Russell (Area Coordinator). I made a mistake on a loan, and got it corrected, which was true... But that is the 1st data correction I had ever had to make in my time there, and considering the stress in that office, it was hard to keep focused when you never knew if Amanda (branch manager) was going to smile or scream.

I knew and made it known to Emily Russell (Area Coordinator) who was "supposed to be" my friend that Amanda didn't like me and I felt like she was trying to get rid of me, that was why I requested a transfer. The only reason she could have possibly had for not liking me was that she was well aware that I did not approve of her affair with Mark Ravetta (her employee, an Account Executive) and partying with her AE's. I think she thought I was talking about it, when in reality it was the guys she was partying with who were coming into the office and laughing and joking about the night before. I have copies of emails I sent to Emily asking for help to get me transferred, and she assured me she was working on it, and saying great things about me (I have the emails), but meanwhile, she is telling our Regional Manager Travis Paules that my performance is terrible.

Emily is suddenly Amanda's new best friend, (after getting mad and telling our Area Manager just a couple of months before that Amanda was sleeping with a subordinate). The next thing I know I am fired one morning. I tried DESPERATELY to get my job back and be moved, with no luck. I was told by Tonya Tatris in Human Resources that all allegations would be investigated, yet not one person was questioned. All she had to do was ask, many of my co-workers would have gladly let her know what was really going on in the office. Many called me and expressed their concerns and showed me a lot of support, which I am thankful for.

I just wanted to let people know that there are vicious little circles, and if you choose not to be a part of them, you will be gone, it's just a matter of time. The funny thing is, Amanda Watson is still there... Even after sleeping with her Account Executive (I think they are about to get married), and putting up numbers that were on many occations far worse than some managers who have already been let go.

A lot of the guys in the Dallas branches used to refer to some of the women as "Joe's Ho's", "the protected ones". I guess it really is true since there are many of them still there under his "reign", and when asked, I guess their "performance" is better. If that's what it takes, count me out. Once when I worked in Mobile II branch, AL, I was asked if I knew why the guy I had just trained got promoted to be my senior. My response was that he kissed a lot of A$, and Joe (then my branch manager) looks at me, smiles, and says you're probably right. I have never gotten over that...
