I called a number in a classified paper advertising an attorney would start a brand new credit file for me. I called the number, received a recording that wanted my address. I complied and received in the mail an advertisement to start a new credit file and receive a guaranteed $5000 credit limit visa or mastercard at 4.9%. The cost was $99 which I sent in a money order. I was also directed to the website: "creditandlaw.com". I have sent numerous emails with no result after waiting for over a month. It seems I have also donated to the Brunton, Mills, & Alan relief fund.
