My wife just received this shocking debt collection notice from NCO Financial Systems from the creditor "State Farm Subrogation SE" and regarding a name we have never heard of, probably bogus. The amount is $8,338.00. Thanks to all of you for posting your experiences - we had no idea what to do at first. So per everyone's advice, we will check our credit reports and file a dispute with NCO.
I also plan to contact my State Attorney General, the FTC, the BBB, Angie's List, local news and anyone else we can to give this company a taste of the inconvenience they have given us. I will update later.
