Ripoff, attempted credit scam, ID Theft attempt

We too have been receiving calls from First Credit stating that we owed 59.95 to "Clear Credit". Like many reports here, I have never heard of this company either.

One thing I would caution everyone about is to NEVER confirm any information (SSN, birth dates, account #, etc.) if they ask you to. Also, I would not worry too much about them reporting it to the credit bureaus.

With all that being said, it is important to get them shut down and I think that what everyone is doing to respond will result in that.in the meantime, let's all have some fun with these turkeys when they call (use your imagination)!
