Ripoff fraudulent activity

I like everyone else that has submitted stories, has been scammed by this so called "Perfect Credit" company. I signed up for the free credit report as well and in the end am being told I owe over $186 for the "free" credit report.

I signed up and noticed that 2 days later $ was taken out of my acct. And I couldn't figure out why and then it dawned on me that maybe it was this place. Sure enough it was and I called to cancel my acct. And received confirmation that this happened.

Then today (July 25) I get a call from First Credit saying that I've been referred to them for collections. I asked for what account because I currently didn't have any delinquent accts. I asked for them to put it in writing what I was being collected for and they told that I should have gotten a detailed billing... Needless to say that never came nor did I get an email. They told me that I had to pay first in order to get something in writing and that I had to do this or my credit would be affected. Here I thought that they were supposed to help with credit. I was charged $35 a piece for actions that I never authorized and yet they continued to fight the so called negative items on my credit report. That it total crap!!! They said that I was to determine what got picked to be fought and what wasn't... I wasn't even given the option... They just took the initiative and did it... Against my will!!!

I also asked for a number to call to speak with someone about this ordeal and they couldn't give me a number, except theirs and since they didn't help me, I just hung up on them. I have submitted a complaint against them to the State Attorney General and they mentioned that they have had problems with them before. I just can't believe that I was/am being scammed by this pathetic excuse for a business. I've also contacted the major credit bureaus to advise them that there might be fraudulent activity on my credit and put me on security alert. I strongly suggest everyone else does the same.

I intend to fight this thing to the end and will not be taken advantage of. If we all stick together then hopefully this won't happen to others.
