Thanks everyone for the warning about BAY AREA BUSINESS COUNCIL

Iwas contacted by a gentleman who said he was calling to approve the credit card I applied for. The company didn't sound like one I applied with and there was a 169.00 processing fee which I could pick when it was to come out of my bank. He gave his name and number and when I said I didn't give my account over the phone he put his supervisor on.

He also gave his name but both were probably fake. They both sounded very professional and may have been legit but I doubt it. When they said they would send me an info pack about their FLEET MASTER CARD but that payment had to be made direct from the bank account that they don't take checks by maila huge red flag went up.

I am so glad that I checked this site (which has saved me before!) they appear to be the rip-off artists that I thought they were. Thanks to all who reported their fraud and saved me. I can take the money they aren't going to get from me and put it toward the week in Florida that they promised to give me as a bonous with my new account. They are listed with the better business bureau as having complaints.
