Gold card scam

I received a certificate back in january, but didn't respond to it right away. I did, at that time, get to talk to a live person about the certificate and all that it entailed. I went ahead and mailed my check for rush processing and i guess i'd forgotten about it.

They cashed my check, probably as soon as it was received, but i still have no card! I recently started wondering what was taking so long in receiving it and decided to give them a call. Since i didn't have the number written down, i looked it up at switchboard.com and called.

Like the others who have complained, i also, got a recording stating that call volume was keeping them from answering the phones. Rush processing is supposed to yield a card in about 14 business days. Well, it's been longer than that and i do not have a card, but they have my money.

I must say that i will be awful careful about these kinds of offers in the near future. It's a d& shame that there is always someone out there getting rich off of those of us who can barely make ends meet. At this point i, too, feel that i have been scammed.
