Ripoff Highly questionable business practices

My mortgage contract was sold to Dovenmuehle by my original lender back in October. I have had nothing but grief ever since! A few months ago they sent me a new payment schedule, noting that my new due date would be the 10th of every month, not clarifying that they would still be charging me late fees if they didn't have the payment by the 1st of the month, or informing me that they would be sending a PI to do a "property investigation" each month the payment was not received by the 1st of the month and charging me for it.

They have been sending me default letters every month since March and I have today received a letter telling me that they have not received May or June payments (although when I spoke with a rep on/about May 15th, he told me they had received the May payment) and that I needed to contact them regarding catching up on my payments (plus late fees, of course).

The letter I received today is the type of correspondence that is sent out just a couple of steps ahead of the foreclosure notice and every time I call and speak to a representative, I'm assured that it's just because I'm on a repayment schedule (I almost lost my home to foreclosure in 2004), the notices are all just automatically computer generated (looks like real signatures on these letters!) and to just ignor the letters.

After doing some research on Dovenmuehle, I'm sorely disturbed! If there are any other disgruntled folks out there or a lawyer who is interested it taking on this company, please contact me. My mental and emotional health is suffering from all this harassment and I'm ready to sue if necessary to keep my sanity and my home.
