Chase Credit Card Mastercard Credit Card Interest rate doubled for no reason. Ripoff My credit is better than ever

The interest rate on my Chase Mastercard doubled with no warning. When I called to complain and ask for my old rate back I was told that was impossible, and the reason for the rate hike was that according to my credit report (which they pulled without asking or notifying me) I now had too many loans to qualify for the rate I previously had.

This is completely untrue. The amount of debt I have has done nothing but decrease since the day I opened this account.

It came to no surprise when I saw on CNN that Chase was linked this week to the Enron scandal. They were ordered to pay a large sum of penalties, and they obviously decided to pass that penalty on to me.
