Ripoff

Unfortunatly, I was sucked in while I was at my normal 9-5 job by an attractive, young WFG MD. She invited me to a barbeque for her company. Which at the time I was unaware of what WFG did.

WFG was having a seminar and while the seminar was going on, This young lady was giving me the indepth look at what they do there at WFG. Comparing them selves to Century 21 and Merril Lynch.

Everything sounded great but I kept thinking "Pyramid Scheme, Pyramid scheme, Pyramid Scheme" I even asked the young lady directly "Is this a Pyramid Scheme?" She was confused by the term so I explained to her what exactly this sort of scam is.

My impression after she talked to me alone for over an hour was and told me that it would be great for me to go to the convention in Las Vegas was "This is too good to be true."

I was suspicious when words like "attitude" are more important than anything else. Even more important than actually knowing the business.

From my experience before in these kinds of hybrid pyramid schemes. One of the important things to remember is the term "Independent Contractor" So technically you are on your own. When I asked tough questions about the connection between the employer employee relationship at this company I got shallow responses. Where I found the Independent Contractor term was within the background check/agreement.

This all leads to my conclusion that a major part of the revenue is made on these types of one on one recruiting. Unfortunatly, I did sign the paper work for the background check for $100. I do feel rather gullible for doing so. I am still going to meet the young lady next week so maybe I can get a date out of it. A date starting at $100 and up already sounds high she better be worth it. But assuredly I won't be continuing this AMWAY wannabe.
