Best buy ripoff

Business & Finance

I bought a computer system from Best Buy through HRS USA. The deal was to pay the balance in full by a certain time with no interest. When the pay off time was about up, I called the company to get a pay off balance. The representative gave me a balance and said that if I paid it that no interest would be charged. I directed, I mailed a check to pay the balance, they received the check, cashed it, and I thought I was done. The next month I received a new bill showing all the accured interest due. I make several phone calls, and wrote several letters, stating that I had made the effort to call, get a pay off, mail it in, and was told that I missed the agreement date by two days because of mail time. Those two days cost me almost $600.00 of which I am still paying. As far Iam concerned, they totally lied to me, did not conduct their business in a professional manner at all, and could care less about the customer!
