Advice, please read do not give them money you do not owe ripoff

I went thru this same garbage with these jerks. They deposited a check first that was written over a week after debit (those are supposed to come out of your account instantly) charges were made. When you use your debit card, they hold that money against your account but then if a check comes in that is larger than your balance your hold, they release the hold, bounce the check and then all previous charges bounce as well. That way they can charge you a whopping $30-$35 a pop. Yes, I realize that writing a check on Wed and trying to deposit the money I needed to cover it on Fri is my fault (What with this lovely new checking system just going into effect) but if they hold money for debits so I can't make more than I can cover, how can they release that hold whenever they want?

Here is my advice, pay what you honest owe, file claims with bbb (I got 2 fees removed) and then refuse to pay any other unwarranted NSF fees. My boyfriend has worked for numerous collection and law agencies over the past 5-8 years and advised me that he has NEVER seen a bank account on a credit report. The only problem is that you need to open an account at a different bank before doing this as owing one bank money can keep you from getting new accounts later or being able to write checks to certain places later... But just use you debit card and be careful Make sure you know a banks posting processes.

Don't pay them any money you don't owe and hurt yourself financially.
