Ripoff unjust in their practice of raising APR's on loyal costumers. Thank you so much to everyone who posted at usacomplaints.com

For the last few months i have been receiving letters in the mail, with PLEASE DO NOT DISCARD labeled on the front. Well needless to say I chucked them all out. Until this last week I sat down to pay my bills and realized how much my APR on current credit ard is, so the next time I received the letter with the PLEASE DO NOT DISCARD on the front I opened it up and started to read.

Well it sounds so good, a whole year with a 0% APR, and then a 9.99% fixed APR after the year was up. But then i noticed the little number next to the last statement and turned over the paper to find out what that was all about. Well it basically said that there are no garantees about the offer anfd they can change the APR if they feel the need.

I just thought this was to cover their own butt, that they probably wouldn't change the APR but if they had to they could. So I went to the website and filled in the application, I was an enter key away from transfering my current card amount to this one. But then I got to thinking 29.49% default rate and started to wonder, so I thought I better check them out here on Rip of Reort. Thank god I did. My current APR is high but not that high, and I could never afford to just pay it off if they raised the APR on me.

This is not exactly a rip off report, but I thought it important to let Chase know they lost a costumer, because I have found them to be unjust in their practice of raising APR's on loyal costumers. This many people complaing only tells me there is a problem.
