The Stefanchik Organization
Ripoff, con artist, hardcore sales, dishonest statements, very pushy

Business & Finance

It was in February that I was conned into signing up with The Stefanchik Organization with the assumption that I would make a lot of easy money by finding mortgage paper. I told this sales person that I did not want any program that would require any studying.

I received a call from another sales person who told me that I would not have to study anything that I could find mortgage paper on the Internet and send the information to them. They would amake all the necessary contacts and if a sale was made I would receive a finders fee. When I agreed to this plan I was charged $2390 for the material to get started. The next day, I decided that I really didn't want to do this, so I faxed the cancellation notice to them, requesting my $2390 be refunded.

I received another call and was told that the 3 day cancellation didn't apply and I could not get a refund. He explaind again that all I would have to do was find the mortgage paper on the Internet and send them the information and I would receive a finders fee when the sale was completed. So I thought then that this was a scam and I had been taken.

I received their "7 Steps to Paper Wealth". I was told that I would have a coach to help me with this and I did talk to this person twice that I remember. The first session was brief. She said that the Stefanchik Organization would not take any information and pay a finders fees, that I would have to find my own source of money to buy the paper that I found and make all the deals according to the "7 Steps To Paper Wealth" and that I should study it. Well I did read through that material and the more I read the further confused I became. The tapes that accompanied were recorded by John Stefanchik during some of his seminars. The more I listened to him the more frustrated I became.

They should be put out of business.

I don't remember how I found out about the "ripoff" web site but I am thankful to you that I did. I read what the other folks wrote, that had been scammed by Stefanchik and I have filed a report with the BBB in Salt Lake City. They have contacted the Stefanchik organization only to get a reply from their law office that I had no grounds for complaint. It is still on going as I have rebutted the lawyer 3 times so far and I intend to keep it up for as long as it take to get some kind of satisfaction. I also sent a letter to John Stefanchik himself with my complaint. Of course I have not received any reply from him. I'm sure that he is laughing all the way to the bank for yet conning another poor soul.
