Stold $43.00 ripoff

I received a certificate in the mail for the 15,000 credit limit and sent in the 43.00 for the processing fee. Then decided to do a little research and found a phone # to them and it was a recording which states I had to be a current account holder to speak to someone. So then I called my bank to see if the check had cleared to stop it and it had. And now I have no way of getting my 43.00 back I have 4 kids and this is a terrible way to lure single parents into scams and take peoples money.
