Ripoff

I paid this account off over a year ago, yet to this day, they still say i owe a balance, but then there collections department says it paid off, i have went back and fourth with this company. This problem has definately effected my chance of buying a home at this time. This matter has still not been resolved, juniper bank says they cant change it because it been to long, but everytime i dispute it with the credit reporting agencies, they say is till owe. Can anyone help me, i'm running out of options and ran out of patience along time ago.
