Business & Finance

Just wanted to report an evident fraudulent offer I just received 2-22-02. This individual sent out mass mailing offering great wealth for only 19.95 and guaranteed refund if not happy. (naturally) The order page carried a verisign logo that did not respond when clicked for verification. My browser could not verify the source and stated the site was not encrypted. The address heading did not have an s on the end denoting a secure site (https:/) Should you send your credit card information, it could be viewed by anyone. The promised refund is as solid as a wispy cloud in windstorm. Warn your friends. These people must be stopped. Catch them early and stop them before they take innocent people's money. He only gave the name Don in the offer.
