The Lending Group - Paul Matthews - aka Americor Lending Group
The Lending Group/Paul Matthews aka Americor Lending Group Filled out a mortgage application and wanted me to confirm the refinancing agreement

After receiving an unsolicited RECORDED call, that could not be terminated on my end. I then heard the caller, Paul Matthews, from The Lending Group telling me our mortgage refi application was approved. He needed me to contact him at 800-599-0235 ext 4010, to complete
the details.

I tried calling that number after the automatic dialer released my phone line... Only to be informed there was a one hour wait before being routed to the next available person.

The line disconnected as soon as the recording stopped. I tried again a few minutes later and got the same results.

I then called my spouse and asked her about the call, and IF she was going to change mortgage companies... She loves the company that we have used to buy the last 3 houses (Countrywide Home Loans) and I did not understand why she was making the change.

She told me that she had NOT approved any application, or authorized anyone to run credit, or job reference checks for a mortgage app. That was when I tried to figger all this out by looking up the info on "Americor Lending Group", and "Paul Matthews"... On the net. What I found was more negative than positive and got me to wonderring about identity theft... Being the end result of this whole fiasco.

I will keep y'all updated IF anything BAD happens.
