Desperately seeking help

I writing to let you know that we have experienced the same over assestemnt of our home by Ameriquest. I had been taking care of my parents for 10 years. About a year in a half ago my dad suffered a major stroke which resulted in Dementia and my mother went in to kidney failure all in the same week. All I wanted to do was provided the care they needed out of my home for them.

My current home is not big enough so we thought we'd sell. Wrong!!! The realtor told our house was over assesed and we could never sell at that time. We had even looked and had been approved for another house. Since then my mother has passed away (March) and my dad is going to have to undergo another corotid artery surgery which could result in god knows what.

I may even lose my home. Ameriquest told us we could refinance after about a month. Wrong!!! They sold us to HSBC. (The same contract applies.) So, About a month and half ago my husband had to have some surgery, I got sick, and my husbands work hours were cut. Needless to say we are now three months behind on our loan and will probably end up in forclosure. All because we can never refinance or sell. They also hit us with a prepayment penalty which expires 9/05.

I'm desperately seeking help from a local attorney or anyone else that is willing to hear my case. I already took this matter to Bereau of Commercial Services, Enforcement Div. At our state office. It's currenty under investigagtion. But I can't wait! I even took the matter to our local news channel who told me to take it to the state office.

Please, Please someone help!!!
