Ripoff! Gouging!

Business & Finance

USAA is ripping me off after I got married. They gave me a a great rate when I added my husband, so we consolidated our policies to USAA. (company named removed by usacomplaints.com) warned me USAA runs this scam to ripoff it's members. I should have listened. They waited until the policy renewed & increased it $700 for a six month premium. They claim I have lost my preferred status b/c my husband's driving record is not spotless.

Mind you - there have been no changes in the policy or driving record since the first six month quote of $1043 and now all of the sudden - it is $1737. I continue to get the "runaround" on the phone so I am writing a letter and sending it to each member of both the Advisory Panel and Board of Directors. I am hoping they will "do the right thing" as they claim to have as a core value. If they do - I will gladly rescind this complaint and restore my faith in USAA. Otherwise - I guess I'll be doing the robot w / the gecko. LOL

Signed,
Should I have listened to (name removed by usacomplaints.com) afterall...

P.S. If you would like a copy of the letter I am sending, because this is happening to you too... Respond to this report. Perhaps we will find a lawyer or group interested in digging further into this to see how often USAA misrepresents itself to it's members.
