GE Cons Cardco Rip-off - Engagement Ring - late fees up the A@!

My finance' purchased a $2000 engagement ring for me back in Sept. We of course took the financing option through the jewelry store because it sounded good. Of course wehave had tons of problems with constant late fees on payments made before the due date. Guess how the card company is. Yup that's right! GE Cons Cardco. I have called to complain numeroud times, and i even think i have gotten the same person helping me each time i call. I got the run around once stating that it takes a week for them to process the payments and that they need to recieve it sometime liek a week before the due date. They basically said that I needed to pay the bill right when i got it or i will get a late charge bc it takes THEM a week to process them. If they arent processed by the due date, but they DO have them in possession, we get charged the late fee. Then another time i was told that that is not true that they MUST by company policy be processed within 24 hrs of receipt. That is the biggest pile of crap bc my due date is the 12th i have had payment there on or before the 12th once and it stated on the next statement that it was not received til the 15th and a late fee was charged. Now they are decreasing my min. Payments to try and coerce me into paying over the year mark. What kind of freaking company is this. They can't be broke and wanting more money after all the late fees they charge. Why do they need to screw us into payin the finance charges as well?
