Ripoff will negotiate restricted checks

This credit card company is a lowlife group if ever there was one. They apparently think they are above the federal Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. Do not pay their ripoff fees. Send them a check for the amount you owe-mark it clearly at the place for endorsement that is is "Tendered as Payment In Full". Send a letter with it setting forth why the contested charges. When they cash it they waive their right to pursue additional amounts under most state law. If they damage your credit with reports of a failure to pay -file your own suit against them in small claims court to have your credit report corrected and for damages ($) incurred. The more people that take affirmative steps the sooner the practices change
