Late Fee Greed and Unwarranted

My wife and I refinanced our home with Provident Funding in Feb. and never had a late fee charged in paying our mortgage, until our July 01 mortgage payment was posted by Provident Funding as being received by them, July 17, one day after the final due date of July 16. I mailed via USPS 5 additional bills all dated July 01 including our Provident Funding mortgage payment on June 28. On July 17 I received an email with our mortgage payment posting on July 17, making one day late, and posted almost 3 weeks after I mailed it by USPS. We attempted to send Provident Funding copies of the 5 bills we had duplicate checks for and a copy of our Checking Account Checks Paid Statement, and all of which showed no checks were taken out of order and the Provident Check was the only one received late, even though it was mailed almost 3 weeks before the final due date. Provident Funding refused to accept our factual documentation and evidence that showed we did nothing wrong, and either the USPS caused the problem or Provident Funding caused the problem, and Provident has refused to waive the $35.61 late fee. Again, we are excellent customers and never had such an issue with them in the past 6 1/2 years we've done business. We have filed complaints with the BBB and CFPB, but Provident just doesn't care about relationships with their customers, their business is based on greed alone and they could care less. Never do business with this Company, and I hope all who read it do not do business with them and hope we can cause this greed and evil to fail. I have never seen such an uncaring Company ever with such greed and contempt for its loyal customers.
