Fighting Back Against ripoff

Id like to start by thanking all of you for saving me alot of time and money. I recieved that little special brown envelope a few days ago as well. I opened it up and seen that it was another credit card offer, i threw it in the floor board of my car. About 3 days later, when I was cleaning out the car I stumbled across it again, this time taking the time to fully read it again and again and again.

Hell I had the check enclosed and was about to seal the envelope when it occured to me that my social security number wasnt asked for or displayed on the application. That was one of the first things that all of my other credit cards had asked for. I guess I was just so excited I hadnt really taken the time to notice it before, so I thought well let me look this company up on the internet to see if there's an online application or any other information regaurding them... And to my little Kansas surprise I found this site.

I have to give these sons a bitches credit, for offering something like this right after a major holiday, and at a time when our economy is in such distress. I do have one idea though, since they dont require your social security number or even your middle initial, cant we take them for the ride? I mean assuming that you finally recieve the actuall card, cant you max the card out, recieve the merchandise, and never pay the charges?

They have no social security number to report it to the credit card bureaus or agencies. So There's no way they can match your name with a credit reporting agency without a valid social security number. Am I Wrong? Maybe Morally in some way I suppose, but isnt it an intreging idea. Has anyone actually recieved the card, to purchase the items from the damn magazines?
Any way I jus needed to blow some steam, thanks for listening and I wish all of you the best of luck.

Ive also taken the time to print some of your responses and made a copy of this credit card application, to send in to a program called watch-dog, its a news program that takes time to look into fraudulous claims like these, and broadcast there results and findings during a major television news broadcast. I encourage everyone and anyone to do the same with your local television stations, consumer credit bureaus, and the better business affairs division in your cities.
