RIPOFF sent me a pre-approved application for $10,000 pltatinum card, sent a $37.00 check, that was suppose to be refundable after your first purchase. They have cashed my check and I haven't received anything

Business & Finance

In November, I recieved an application for a pre-approved $10,000 credit line for a platinum card. I sent a check for the $37.00 application fee. My check was cashed within 10 days from the time I sent it.

I still have not received any credit card or any other information regarding this credit card. I started to realize I was most likley the victim of a Credit Card Scam.

I went on the internet today to see if this company was legitmate, and sure enough found out they were'nt. I should have done this before I sent them a check for $37.00. Reading on the internet how these companies pull this off, I realized I was the perfect target. I have been laid off for over a year now, and yes getting behind on bills.
