Ripoff

We were told that if we called and cancelled @ least 4 days before the deduction for the card, then it would be cancelled. I called a week before the money was suppose to be taken out, to cancel, and we just got a bank statement saying they tried to take it out the 17th of December. There was no money in the account to cover the amount, so we were charged 25.00 dollars for them doing it. I cancelled the card on the 10th of December. What can we do about this charge?
