Massage and Far Infrared Treatment - Solar Sauna

I recently signed back up for the bi-montly plan after not having gone in quite some time. They have really changed the decor and the new Feng Shui is so calming and serene, I just love it.

They also added a new service that I was dying to try and when I finally did, I was blown away by it. It looks kind of like an eskimo tanning bed (I am not kidding) and it is called Far Infrared Therapy. Do not ask me how it does it, but it makes your body eliminate toxins (read sweat) like you are in the midst of a 90 minute, harsh as hell, workout - without making you feel like you are going to spontaneously combust.

And trust me, I am menopausal, so when you mention "heat" to me, I RUN!

But this was a different kind of heat and I almost fell asleep while being treated. Afterwards, you could see the outline of my body and I noticed a weird kind of sandy feeling all over before I dried off for my massage, which my masseuse later explained to me was crystalline toxins that had been excreted during the therapy.

All I can say is WOW!!! I immediately signed up for two treatments a month and started looking into actually buying one of those beds. This was by far the best detox treatment I have ever experienced.

As usual, the massage was amazing and I left feeling almost like a new woman.
I was kicking myself for discontinuing my membership, but I am so glad I made a point to return. This place is a LIFE SAVER!
