Disappointed

Had a great haircut Xmas eve at this super cuts. Went back today requesting that it be shaped and just 1/2 inch taken off. The hairdresser (lauren or Laurie?) cut the back and started to remove my cape to let me go so I asked if she was also going to do the front. She put it back on and did so. When I asked if anything could be done about the flipped up hair behind my ear she said it was cowlick and she couldn't do anything about it. I said can you cut it? She said no. She I asked how I could get it to go under and she said I would have to blow it dry. I asked if she would and she said yes not telling me it would be an extra 25 dollars. She was very deliberate and careful blow drying my hair and I asked if that was the way I would have to blow it dry and she said yes if I want it to go under. (even though I did not have to do it that carefully with my previous cut) When she finished it looked like someone had taken a bowl and put it on my head. The worst was being charged 38 dollars. I told her I didn't like the cut and that it wasn't like last time. She said that she had exactly cut it the same way. Bottom line... I don't mind taking w chance on a haircut at a chain and I have had good experiences until today. I really don't think I should have been charged 38 dollars and when I said I didnt like it she could have tried to fix it or at least apologized.
