After being a member of Planet Fitness Montgomery IL for over four years, my recent attempt to cancel my membership has left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a nightmarish ordeal, highlighting the lack of customer service and integrity at this establishment.
Firstly, when I called to cancel my membership, I was informed that cancellations could only be done in person. Fair enough, I thought, until I was abruptly hung up on by a representative. Shocked and confused, I decided to visit the gym in person to sort out this mess.
Upon arriving at the gym, I was greeted by none other than the "Operation Excellence Manager," the same person who had hung up on me earlier. The irony of there title did not escape me, as my entire experience contradicted any semblance of operational excellence.
there demeanor was far from professional, and there handling of the situation was abysmal. Instead of addressing my concerns, she displayed a dismissive attitude and seemed uninterested in providing any assistance. It became apparent that customer satisfaction was not a priority for Planet Fitness Montgomery IL
I was shocked to learn about a cancellation fee after recently paying my yearly membership at Planet Fitness Montgomery IL. The fine print hinted at a possible waiver, referring to a specific section and document.
