Don't buy this insurance

This insurance is fine for the first year. But pray that your animal does not have an illness that lasts one day over one year. At that point, all insurance for that particular illness stops - forever! This is outrageous and inhumane. Just imagine if a human's insurance would discontinue after one year for a particular illness, like diabetes or cancer. Because of this policy many animals will have to be put down. When asked about this, the company said a more expensive insurance package does not do this - that the policy I had was "a starter policy." When I then asked to upgrade to the more expensive policy, they said I could not do it for this animal because she had a pre-existing condition! Talk about a catch-22 condition! Go somewhere else for pet insurance - almost all other companies are less expensive also.
