Trickery and Head Games

I contacted Mary Statum shortly after I relocated to Eugene for horse boarding. My horse is 2 hours away from me, and I was looking into relocating him by this winter. I explained my circumstances to Mary, and she seemed more than accomodating at the time. We agreed that she would help me move my horse a month ago. Without warning she called me and cancelled the plans, told me her daughter was leaving out of town early and wanted to spend more time with her that she would have to move my horse another time. We changed the plans to September, that would give me more time to think about things. I have had terrible experiences with horse boarding and the people who run the places, they are mean and controlling and mentally abusive at my expense and have been corrupted at times. I explained all of this to Mary, but now she is using this as a way to discriminate against me. I felt that she is looking for any weak spot she can use on me to cause me to feel bad. I have done nothing to her, she started twisting things to make it look like I wasn't sure about what decision I was headed for, but I had already made my decision back in July, I was just waiting for her. I feel persecuted and strung along all of these weeks and I cannot find any other place to go. Mary started telling me that after I moved my horse in that if someone else wanted his stall, I would have to move him. I didn't like the way she started treating me like I was second class and wanting to disrupt my stability. I realized we were different, but I am open minded and was looking forward to the social experiences of some of the events and felt that maybe I had finally found a place that would be accepting of me. I was more than willing to make adjustments and get a long.

She called me several days ago, and left a message on my machine, I returned the call twice on thurs, sept 9th. She did not respond. I called her at the feed store on Fri sept 10th. She snapped at me and was very rude and told me I needed to make up my mind that she would call me Sun sept 12th. I never received any call. We had agreed formerly that she would help me move my horse Sept 13th.

I called her this morning, and she now does not want me at her stable that I can't board there that we are not a match, and I could not get a word in. She had to have the control.

I feel vulnerable and that she was trying to dismantle my feeling of empowerment purposely to give her the upper edge, and the whole thing was a power trip to her. All I wanted to be closer to my horse and have a place to ride in the winter. The whole thing felt that what I wanted didn't matter, that she was trying to take that from me.

I told her that I made a major move and I was overwhelmed and trying to regain a sense of balance, and she is taking it and twisting it into some major ordeal and sabotaging my chances of boarding anywhere in Eugene that I can afford. This whole thing just feels evil to me.

I tried calling Oak Hill Stables and I can't get any response. I just don't understand this. I don't deserve this. I am needing some help here. I don't want to be treated badly because people are perceiving me as alone and without a lot of connections in a new area. I feel she has slautered me before I had a chance and has accomplished her gain which was to cause me to feel rejected and has ruined any chances for me to advance in my horse hobby. Someone had requested horse back riding lessons from me, and Mary had said I could as long as I signed a waiver. This was money in my pocket to help my costs of keeping my horse. It's ruined now.
