Refused service

I called at around 5:50 am this morning (7/31) with a concern about my 9 week old kitten Sami. I told the doctor what the issue was and that I needed to come in with him asap. He set up an appointment for me at 5pm. (Even though it's an emergency clinic) Last I checked, you didn't make an appoint for an emergency.

I then voiced my concern that I didn't have enough money for a full payment at the time and I read on their public website that a payment plan was available. I was told that I would have to borrow money or my kitten couldn't be seen. I was also told by the same person that it's not his fault that I don't know how to manage my funds.

I expressed that it was false advertisement and how angry I was that he was going to let my kitten go in pain. He made a snide remark along the lines of "If you find a vet who will actually treat your kitten when you can't pay full price, then please, call me back and let me know" I got extremely angry at that remark but stayed calm all the while and for voicing my anger, I was hung up on.

So not only was I refused service, I was personally attacked in a manner that a professional shouldn't do.

I feel as though I was completely wronged and this should not go unpunished.
