Performed unnecessary surgery on my dog

A pre op biopsy was never done about the two stones on my puppy's body.

Post op pathology documented the stones were totally harmless. This reality might have been decided without surgery. VCA has triggered my puppy needless discomfort and suffering, has triggered me psychological panic, and charge me a medical and medical statement past $1,500. Furthermore, when stitches were eliminated 14 days post op, I had been educated my puppy was "healing nicely". Our puppy consequently chewed available a the injury, needing further professional interest, at one more price of $328. Additionally, my puppy may will have a lasting impairment in one single knee consequently of the completely unnecessary surgery. It's unknown at the moment the way the impairment and surgery aftereffects may influence my puppy later on. When queried why a pre op biopsy wasn't performed when at work to truly have the surgery fix done, the vet on-duty responded, "occasionally we-don't".

Because The surgery was needless, that could have now been based on a preop biopsy laboratory check, personally I think VCA was intentionally attempting to create a fee with this situation by planning forward with no preop biopsy. Our puppy wouldn't have needed another visit for medical fix if your pre op biopsy have been done, and that I stated that towards the vet on-duty.

There is no reaction in the vet; the possible lack of remark "informed " me all I have to understand.

I'm VCA owes me restitution in this instance, modification of the costs is certainly to be able. There's completely substantiated proof in the pathology laboratory the stones were harmless. VCA can't challenge the reality.
