I just received a call from "Tornado Office Systems" wanting to sell supplies, i.E. Pens, highlighters, post-its merchandise at a reduced cost; their company was liquidating their inventory and moving to Arkansas. The young woman stated she was referred by our Director of Finance (who doesn't get involved in this aspect of purchasing). I let her know that I would need to check my inventory before I place an order with her and asked her if I could call her back tomorrow. She, of course. Stated she might not be by a phone and opted to call me back... We'll see.

I then searcjed her company name and found them on a complaint website. I contacted the Director of Finance to let him know that there was someone out there using his name and am now writing this brief note. I wonder if anyone else has had this phone call? Don't fall for her friendly voice!
