Not well breed nor socialized puppies because of an inexperienced breeder Ripoff

I bought a dog from this company in November. I was looking for a long haired dapple dachshund and came across her site. Her prices were pretty cheap so I'd thought I'd give it a try (BAD MISTAKE). I do blame myself because there were several red flags about the place. For one her trailer was dirty with all kinds of clutter everwhere. The dogs were gated and blocked off in the back in a small area where you couldn't see them (my husband told me later that he looked in the backyards and saw dozens of crates with four or five puppies and dogs jammed in each one).

When we go there the place smelled horrible I mean rotten to the point I felt sick. The puppy at first glance seemed okay a little skittish, but she gave me a health certificate and claimed he was okay. I took him the vet not even the next day to find he had worms, the worst case of a yeast infection in his ears I have ever seen, flees and ear mites. I tried to contact her about it on several occassions to no avail. I emailed and and phoned her.

Then later on we find that he has a retained testicle because of problem that is carried down genetically. Not only that his temperment was submissive. I mean very submissive we couldn't touch him, tell him he was a good boy or play with him without him peeing. At first I thought it was because he wasn't potty trained yet, but no that was not he case. We all know the first twelve weeks of a puppies life are crucial and I was told my a behavior specialist that his behavior was the result of being poorly socialized during that time and it is irreversible.

On top of that when we got him home he was afraid of grass, men, cars, children, planes, thunderstorms and just about anything else you can imagine. Does this sound like a dog from a breeder who knows what shes doing? Absolutely not. On top of this she calls me after a year of me trying to contact only because she got a report from the BBB and lies to me saying she never got the messages or the phone calls, which was a bald faced lie.

The puppy no longer belongs to me due to his special needs and she was now offering only a return of purchase price only because of the report of the BBB otherwise she'd continue to ignore me. If your looking for a Dachshund do not buy a dog from this woman, it will result in heartbreak and an exuberant amount of vet and behavior specialist bills!!!
