They told me they had recovered $499 that I paid a company to sell my time share 4 years ago and then did nothing. They were going to charge me $100 but the $ had to be directly deposited into a checking account, and the $100 would be paid out of that. I was wary so I opened a new checking account at my credit union with the minimum $5. They tried to take out $100 without depositing any money. They didn't but the Credit union charged me a $30 fee.
