I have a few adverts on Loot.com one of them to sell is a Frontera Sports TDi car for £950.00. Both the above people contacted me to buy the car unseen! Larson Boermans was the first person to contact me with a story that he is a marine engineer and is out of the country etc, he wanted to purchase the car and have it shipped over to his dad as a surprise. I put his name into Google and it came up on this website as he had committed another similar scam on the 12th August. Immediately I told him that I knew it was a scam and not to contact me again.
Tom West then emailed me in very bad english to say he also wants to purchase my car sold unseen and to be shipped out. He mentions an shipping agent and also monies still owing him in the UK. He asks for my details etc so he can transfer money to me.
On receiving this email I immediately told him that I know this is a scam and not to contact me again, I also informed him that he will now see his name in print as I was going to put this on Scambook!!!
Both of these people didn't manage to get to the scam stage and get money off me, and thats thanks to Scam book:)
