How do they get your Credit Card number? I certainly did not give it to them! Could my Bank (Wachovia) be involved in this scam?

It creates me genuinely believe that my Lender might be in cahoots with one of these

Scammers. How did they get my creditcardnumber?

I truly didn't provide it for them.

Do I have to have my lender alter my bill number?

The corporation-SIMPLE SAVER - charged my acct. For no reason.

What disturbs me much more is, how did they get my card number?

I guarantee, used to do not provide it for them.

That Is really scary. This is actually the second-time something similar to it has

Occurred within the last 8 weeks.

What would you recommend as a means to prevent this scam?
