I called Brighthouse this evening after their techs once again hadn't showed-up nor called making me wait for nothing several hours regarding an installation. They've done this to me three times last year regarding installation appointments. I now have DirecTV and am happy with them so far. I only have Brighthouse for Internet and dare not get their phone service! Tonight they were suppose to come to upgrade my Internet service. The connection speed had become slow about two weeks ago and stayed consistently slow so I thought I'd upgrade for $15 more per month plus tax. Sure, that is if I can get a tech out here, right? Anyway it was so bad when I called tonight about them not showing up I had to laugh! I'd been on hold for 15 minutes without an answer. I called them back a little bit later. When I did I had typed-in my phone number. This time their computer screwed me saying "sorry, we didn't get that"! WHAT??? It happened twice using a perfectly good touch-tone phone on a landline! I'm laughing by now telling my friend about this! Then I tried calling a third time right after while still laughing! This time I got the message "the office is now closed. LOL Holy crap! Can you believe it? It's true!!! My friend was sitting right here both of us laughing our nuts off! Tomorrow I'm going to call using my cell phone. I'm going to attempt to get that $35 credit they offer if/when their techs don't show up. I'm sure more laughing will be in order instead of pulling my hair out. Everybody around here knows Brighthouse sucks. Here they're so bad it's funny! I'd switch to DSL to dump Brighthouse any day of the week! But NO, DSL isn't currently offered here! You gotta laugh when you're at the age of going bald day by day!:)
