I would like to complain about the toll fees that I was billed for. I was visiting Houston & used toll roads which I did not intend to use but I was basically forced on because I didn't know my way around Houston & the traffic is absurd. Then I receive a bill saying I was in violation which was because I didn't open an account? Nowhere did it inform me that an account must be opened in order to use toll lanes. I believe everyone should be informed of this. How is someone like me who is not from Houston suppose to know that an account must be opened prior to using the toll lanes. I'd like to appeal this invoice and will do what I can to have these fees dismissed. How is one only given two weeks from mailing date to pay for such ridiculous fees? It takes about two to three days to actually reach its destination which leaves me two to three days less to pay.
