Nationwide Title Transfer Title and Escrow Services, Interested in Buying, Asking $500 up Front, False Looking Contract Documents

Received a message from a Robin Mastry 941-306-6686 saying she was interested in buying our timeshare in Massanutten, VA. And that this was from a personal buyer. When I returned her phone call she asked now which property was this again because I have made several phone calls about properties that me and my husband are interested in purchasing. We knew right off the bat that this was not a personal call. But we were going to see how far this was going to go. She offered us $16,000 for our timeshare that we were only asking $14,000 for. And we advised her that we had upgraded from the listing that she had. She said that was fine and we would be hearing from someone with the information for the purchase aggreement and asked for my husbands email address.

We got a phone call from John Donlin from Nationwide Title Transfer letting us know that he was drawing up the paperwork for Ms. Mastry and that we should be receiving them in the email that was provided and he verified all the info. I even told him several times that we had upgraded to a different unit and the name was different than what he was stating and he was like well that is fine and it doesn't matter at this time right now until the titleling is complete. I was very unhappy with his attitude and the way he handled himself.

Once we got the contract and printed it out to look at it. There were several discrepencies on it. 1.) It looked as if he just typed it up in word and printed it out. Not done on any type of proffessional manner at all. 2.) The letterhead was typed in unproffessional fonts (address was in all lowercase). 3.) Street address on website states they are located at 611 S. Harrison Ave. Unit 105, Clearwater, FL. But the paperwork says they are located at 873 west bay drive 142, Largo FL 33770. But the Phone and Fax numbers are the same. 4.) They spelt our names incorrectly as the sellers after verifying it. 5.) Still had the wrong timeshare property name listed even after us telling them that we had upgraded to a different unit. 6.) Put that we will put forth $500 deposit but does not state for what this deposit is for on the contract and expects us to sign it and pay it the money no questions asked.

I received a call from the assistant to John Donlin today Tasha was her first name. She asked if we were going to proceed with the sell of our timeshare and I told her not with the documents that we received from Mr. Donlin which looks as if he just typed them up in word and sent them out. There were mispellings and we are not paying anything up front because we have been bit too many times from timeshare fraud. She said that this was a first and that she would let him know and if he had any questions that he would probably contact me. I highly don't think he will.

So do your research before doing anything with timeshare sells. You will be amazed with what you can find out about a company.
