If you don't use your Magic Jack for more than 3 months they deactivate you, never tell you and if you want it reactivated, you have to now do that for a new price of $29.95 per year.
Here is what Leonard had to say when I chatted with him online about the situation:
Leonard: Please allow me to informed that you our website on the account portal is being updated and it seems that your device is deactivated and it is the reason why you cannot see your phone number on your magicJack account.
ME: Any reason why it was deactivated?
Leonard: The reason why it is deactivated is that you have not use the device more than 3 months.
ME: I have to use it or loose it?
Leonard: The reason why it is deactivated is that you have not used the device more than 3 months when it is already expired its service.
ME: And SO WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO REACTIVATE IT?
Leonard: Please plug your device directly into your computer and purchase the renewal subscription of your device.
I requested a renewal code but was told I had to subscribe as a new user. This is one user that is not going back, Thank you very much!!!
