I hired The Consumer Advocacy Group to handle a loan modification for myself and my husband in November. We paid $300 at the time to Kristy Sinsara who was working at another law office. She eventually opened up the Consumer Advocacy Group and our file was transferred to her Las Vegas office.
To date, we have had no modification and no offer from our lender for modification. I've tried contacting my "case manager" multiple times but I get absoluately no response. My home has not been foreclosed on yet but probably will be without the modification.
In addition, I hired The Consumer Advocacy Group to handle a Chapter 7 bankruptcy for myself and my husband. We paid $1000 for the bankruptcy. This was in the early part of July. I was told by Kristy Sinsara that I would recieve my petition in a few days for review. Then we would just need to sign it and return it so she could file it for us. We never received any paperwork from Kristy or from her office. I've tried contacting her weekly since July and have been continually put off. She tells me she will get it to me next week and then next week comes and goes with no paperwork. The last 2 weeks I've tried contacting her again on multiple occassions but now I get no response back. Not a phone call, email, text... Nothing.
My last attempt was on Sunday, september 6th. I sent her a text message to her cell phone (which she normally responds to) asking for a refund of my monies. I had already asked for a refund in the last month but she kept telling me she would get the petition to me rather than refunding my money. This last text asking for a refund was ignored by Kristy Sinsra. It has been 2 months since I've paid for the bankruptcy with not a thing being done by Kristy Sinsara or the Consumer Advocacy Group. It's been 10 months since I hired the Consumer Advocacy Group and now have no contact with anyone from their office.
