I cancelled my subscription in early 2007 after my radio reciever broke. This in itself took over an hour. I recieved a phone call from a collection agency a year later saying I owed $30 on an unpaid sirius account. Sirius said they had no record of me cancelling whan I called them to figure this out. Sirius decided to auto charge my card for another year. I however had since cancelled that card. So when they could not charge my card what did the nice jerks @ Sirius do? They changed my subscription that I had cancelled from a yearly to a monthly without informing me. Keep in mind I recieved no contact of any kind from the day I cancelled untill I got a call from a collection agency. I am not mentioning the collection agency because I found them to be helpfull and they didn't make this mess but we'll see what happens with them. So Sirius has changed the nature of the billing agreement and charged me without ever letting me know!!!
Also Sirius claims that they spoke with me in march but when I asked for a record of this call they refused. AHHHHHHHHH! This company is just making stuff up I NEVER SPOKE WITH THEM!
I understand the nature of auto renewall subscriptions and that it is the subscriber's responsibility to cancell. Sirius however seems to think that even if you cancell your subscription that they get to charge you anyway as well as ding your credit at the same time. Do not do business with sirius.
