K-9 Kare Kare Korner
Owner buys from puppy mills and sells sick dogs in NJ, without a liscenced vet!

I have have purchased a puppy from K-9 kare Korner. I bought my dog in Feb. 08. She was sick the next day. I took her to the vet, and she had kennel cough, and an upper-respitory infection. They put her on meds, and I had a couple of vet visits.

After a month she was finally better. I contacted Kim, "the owner", to tell her about my dog, and have my vet bills paid for. She told me that "what my dog had, was NOT covered under NJ law, and that she wasn't going to help me". She also said that I must have made her sick, by taking her to the vet to soon.

She also said that " that's the risk u take buying a dog from a pet store ". She said she breeds dogs from home, and they do not get these illnesses. So I have to deal with it. She did not pay for my vet bills, at all!

I then contacted the BBB, consumer affairs, Camden County Health Dept, Animal Welfare, and Channel 29 news. She has two reports with the BBB, three with Consumer Affairs. The Health Dept., did an investigation and shut her down temporarily three weeks ago. She was not allowed to sell or recieve any dogs.

Her pet sales liscence was taken away on Mon. She is only allowed to run her grooming section. She had five sick dogs left on Sat. And at this point we do not know what happened to those dogs. She is still advertising in the paper, but is NOT allowed to sell dogs.

I have contacted the SPCA, so we will see what happens. She is a very bad business person. She does not stand by the law. The puppy lemon law states very clearly what is required, and she does not follow that. Why would someone sell puppies, if they are only in it for $? She got my dog from Iowa. I am dealing with a another woman, and Kim got her dog from a puppy mill in PA. She does not care about animals.

She also gave me a health cert, stating that her vet was Tara Duffy, in Blackwood. Tara has verified that she has not been Kim's vet since March. She is a liar! And is going to be stopped, before someone else buys a sick dog.

I know that there are many many people out there who have had this experience with Kim, and her store. Please contact me if u have had this experience, or know of Kim's practices. I really need your help to bring this down on her.
