Employees of this walmart have only one choice of health insurance, blue-cross and blue-shield of alabama. This insurance pays only a tiny amt. Even when the deductible has been met. It does not pay on preventative care, such as pap smears, lab work, etc.in other words, this insurance is of no benefit when an employee has to see their doctor. Walmart needs a choice in health insurance plans, what happened to the john deere hmo, walmart doesn't even offer this anymore. The dental insurance they have is ok, but like i have said health insurance at walmart supercenters suck. Thanks for allowing me to express my opinion and i really hope other walmart employees in virginia will complain. Noone needs to pay high premiums for health insurance coverage if its not going to pay. Its another rip-off for the walmart associate.
