I decided to take this issue here because I don't know if anyone else has had an issue with the ink jet cartridge refills from Cartridge World. I also came here because this is the second time I had this problem with Cartridge World.
With the factory 'Epson' ink jet cartridges I got hundreds of black & white / color prints. Those same cartridges were filled (twice) by Cartridge World and I was lucky to get a dozen small print jobs out of these same yet 'refilled' cartridges.
I explained the problem to a Cartridge World employee who said "yeah, that's weird." He gave no explanation. He gave me a little discount and refilled them a second time. I took home the cartridges did about a dozen 'small' print jobs, and in two weeks time I was already out of ink in those cartridges!
Questions: Is something wrong with 'my' printer? Well, as long as there is ink the cartridges the printer works fine.
Did I check the ink levels prior to using the printer after I returned from having them refilled? Yes, oddly enough the printer registered the cartridges as full. Problem is, how do I know that a cartridge can be filled to a minimum and the printer interprets it as being full?
Conclusion: If I got even half the print work from the refilled 'factory' cartridges I would be happy considering the money I spent on the refills. Truth is, it hasn't even scratched the surface of the amount of printing the new factory cartridges did. So, these refills have become quite the rip-off.
Any feed back would be appreciated!
