Many things are unfair and illegal at this shelter. Jan takes half of peoples food stamps which is illegal. She has also been known to take peoples prescriptions (pain pills). She has also been seen smoking weed. Because this is a privately owned shelter, when complaints are made to the Director/Owner Sister Lewis they are often overlooked or excused away. Religion is forced upon residents! Rules such as where and when we can shower, smoke, etc are not enforced with CERTAIN people in the shelter who are family/friends of Jan.
